When the going gets tough, your "friends" get the going.

Your friends tell you they're down for you, so when they need you...you ride for them. But when you need them, where the fuck are they? I learned the hard way, to depend on no one but yourself. People will disappoint you over and over again but in the end you know you can never let yourself down. A shoulder to cry on? Nah easy solution, keep your head up and don't find a reason to cry. Trusting someone with your emotions only gives them the power to break you. Past experiences have turned me cold, but made me smarter. My circle of friends is limited, real people are hard to come by these days. Girls are scandelous, guys are unreliable...so getting close to people is always a leap for me. But people will be who they are. So i guess I'm just saying know what to expect.
